Chanel ambassador, the daughter of Caroline of Monaco had naturally trusted the house on rue Cambon for her outfit, a navy haute couture dress embroidered with colorful flowers. A floral detail that determined the beauty look she was going to wear for the occasion: “Tonight, it was the dress that guided the make-up, since there are magnificent embroideries. For the eyes, I wanted a slightly turquoise blue and for the lips a slightly coral red, it’s really the dress that inspired me”, explains the one who defines beauty as an “aesthetic emotion, something that takes us out of ourselves”.

Smoked liner

Sandrine Cano-Bock, Chanel make-up artist, was responsible for doing her make-up. “Charlotte showed me the outfit she was going to wear to go up the stairs. She really wanted me to create a reminder of the turquoise blue color of the camellias embroidered on the top of her dress.” That’s why she imagined a smoky liner slightly degraded on the eyelids by mixing two blue pencils (Les Stylo Yeux Waterproof Bleu Métal and Marine de Chanel). “What I like about the texture of these pencils is that it moves a little bit to give more life, it’s less fixed than an eye shadow. And as this model is waterproof: it does not move on the red carpet!

To perfect Charlotte Casiraghi’s look, she generously applies black mascara (Le Volume Waterproof): “To give more openness to her look”. But the make-up artist also plays on the details “by slightly mixing a golden shadow with the blue on the eyelid”.

On the complexion side, Sandrine Cano-Bock worked on a healthy glow effect. The idea? Bring color to the cheekbones, structure the face and give freshness (with the Les 4 Rouges Yeux et Joues Caractère palette): “Charlotte has a naturally tanned complexion: instinctively I worked on it by bringing more substance with La Beautiful Sunny Glow Cream.» The essential secret for a good outfit on the red carpet? Mattify the face with a powder.

Finally, on the lips, a little orange-pink gloss brings this very luminous glowy rosé. “Charlotte has a very nicely drawn mouth: just that touch was enough to complete her beauty look.” The proof in pictures.
