3 student recipes before going to the gym

If you’re out of inspiration good food to eat before going to the gym, Kotplanet has a few ideas for you, and they’re pretty yummy. What to be in great shape to face your day of classes after the room!

If you are looking for recipes for balanced breakfasts, here are a few!

1/ Protein porridge

This one is a great classic but we have to offer it to you. Super easy and quick to make you compose it as you want with the stuff you prefer and you can add protein powder or not depending on your needs and desires.

Ingredients :

  • oat flakes
  • Milk (vegetable or not)
  • Some water
  • Toppings of your choice

For the preparation :

In a saucepan you pour your oatmeal (+/- 2 tablespoons) then a trickle of water and a little milk. You come to light the fire under your saucepan and you stir slightly (it must not stick underneath). Once the porridge is a little more compact (but not too much) you just pour it into a bowl. Then you add the toppingss of your choice. For example: dark chocolate chips, a banana, raisins and a touch of peanut butter, a treat!

2/ Avocado toast

If you are part of the early morning salty team, you will love this recipe!

Ingredients :

  • Eggs
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 slices of bread of your choice (preferably cereal or wholemeal)
  • Spices of your choice
  • Optional, a slice of smoked salmon

For the preparation :

You just cook your eggs as you prefer them on a toast and you add the spices. Then, you just toast your 2 sandwiches to place the avocado slices on them. If you are greedy, you can add 1 slice of smoked salmon on each toast, a real killer!

3/ Caramel pumpkin pancakes

This recipe requires a little more preparation time. but when you see the rendering, you will thank us!

For the ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • Milk (vegetable or not)
  • Flour (of your choice)
  • 1 tsp baking powder

For the preparation :

In a salad bowl you come to mix all the ingredients of the list and you mix enough to obtain a homogeneous paste. Then in a pan you just cook your pancakes. As a topping, we recommend bananas, peanut butter and maple syrup, a real treat !
